ADMINISTRATION

 

2/13 In honor of Valentine’s Day Tech will be raising money for the American Heart Association by selling chocolate covered strawberries, a healthy snack, Wednesday. Our Heart Healthy tip for today skip the cake and take a walk after dinner.

Do you still want to go to Washington D.C. but haven’t signed up yet? Or you would like to go for Free?

Buy a raffle ticket for $3 or 4 for $10.  The winner will receive a free trip to Washington D.C. if you have already paid you will receive a refund this is a $375 value.  If you sell the winning ticket you will receive a $100 refund towards your trip.  Students will be selling tickets at lunch & before school or come to Room C338.  The drawing will be held on Friday March 16th

This week is the last opportunity to get fee reduction forms to Mr. Weymouth in order to be considered for a reduced AP exam fee.

9th and 10th grade students are invited to attend the College/Career Readiness program after school on Tuesdays in room B310. Please see Ms. Mac in the IT academy or Ms. Kurczy in the Allied Health Academy for more information.

CLUBS

Do you deserve the spotlight? Come audition for Tech Idol on February 13th, make-up date is the 14th. Audition sign-ups will be posted in the conference room and main office.

Prom committee will be raffling off a Valentine’s themed gift basket. Tickets will be sold today and tomorrow at all lunches for either one ticket for $2 or 3 tickets for $4.

Just a reminder that DECA is still collecting clothes and necessities for the homeless. We are looking for toiletry items as well as hats and cloves. Thank you in advance.

Gents who code will meet today in B201

Speech and debate club will meet Thursday, in B201

Knitting is Wednesday this week. Room A157 with Mrs. Caplan. Supplies are free and we meet until 3:00pm.

Science Club will meet this Thursday after school. Come to Mrs. Coughlin’s room in C-409.

FITCLUB is this Wednesday and will meet in the cafeteria for ZUMBA STRONG at 1:45

NHS/STUDENT COUNCIL

Student Council will have a jar full of sweet tart hearts at all lunches. Come and guess how much and you can win the candy jar. Two guesses for $1.00 or five guesses for $3.00. Winner will be announced tomorrow.

Want to send a note to your crush or friend? Write down a message at lunch and student council will deliver it on Valentine’s Day. It will cost $1.00 to send a note.

SPORTS

The boys’ basketball team will be having their senior night game today against Bay Path. Freshman game at 3:30pm, JV game at 5:00pm and Varsity game at 6:30pm.

There will be a meeting today in the weight room after school for all returning football players and any interested newcomers in weight room.

Come support your Varsity Ice Hockey Team, the Worcester Wildcats, this Saturday, February 17, at 4:30. The game is at the new Worcester Ice Center, 112 Harding St, Worcester. This is the team’s last home game of the season. And it’s also Senior night. Come check out the new rink and cheer on your team.
