ADMINISTRATION

Come on down to the Cosmetology Shop for your Easter manicure this week for the low price of 8 dollars! Want to add a paraffin wax treatment? Add another 2 dollars. Such a deal. Call for an appointment. Our students are waiting for you.

You are cordially invited to attend our upcoming college fair on Tuesday, April 10th from 6-8pm in our gymnasium. All 11th graders are encouraged to join us. Come and meet with college and university admissions officers, or talk to military recruiters. Also, discover local college access programs that are available to assist you in the college and career planning process. Remember to update your career goals on Naviance.

Juniors:  WTHS will be providing the SAT exam to all Juniors on April 10th during the school day for free.  Please utilize College Board and khan academy to help you prepare for the exam.

There is Saturday Buy Back this Saturday in the library from 8:00am-11:00am. Students need to be in the lobby by 8:00am with school work. Please see Mr. Healey with any questions.

Reminder to the Junior Class-please turn in your Yankee Candle order forms to Mr. Tripp and/or Chef Y today.

GENERAL

 9th and 10th grade students are invited to attend the College/Career Readiness program after school on Tuesdays in room B310. Please see Ms. Mac in the IT academy or Ms. Kurczy in the Allied Health Academy for more information.

Today begins the ELA MCAS test. Best of luck to the 10th graders. The library will be closed today, Wednesday, and Thursday all day.

There will be no math MCAS after school program this week. The program will resume next Tuesday, April 3rd.

Thursday March 29, the history department will be showing the movie 13 Days in the library. The movie is about the Cuban Missile Crisis which brought the country to the closest point of nuclear war during the presidency of JFK.  See your history teacher about extra credit, this is an R rated film so you will need a permission slip if you have not already brought one in.

CLUBS

Knitting is today after school until 3:00pm in room A157 with Mrs. Caplan. Supplies are free.

Are you interested in being an active member in the community? Do you have ideas to change the world? If so, come join the first meeting of the Human Rights Club with Mr. Frechette in room D430 this Wednesday right after school! All those interested are welcome!
