GENERAL

Today the history department will be showing the movie 12 Years a slave.  The movie follows the story of an African American man who was illegally captured and sold into slavery and the horrible treatment he lived through at the hands of his different slave owners.  See your history teacher about extra credit, this is an R rated film so you will need a permission slip if you have not already brought one in.
